The top (the most important part) is absolutely beautiful and fully corresponds to the photos. Hence the 4 stars. But minus 1 star for false advertising from BELOW (jam). The photos show that the cork has a high quality gold finish to match the gold finish on the top, but the cork is actually a really cheap YELLOW color that completely detracts from everything else good about this product. The prettiest is just an ordinary white box, but . also in a box? Passable for a gift. Honestly this would be a great gift if it weren't for the yellow bottom - I'd be a bit embarrassed giving something that looks so cheap. The only reason I got 4 full stars is because it's for personal use. and the bottom cork is out of sight/hidden while in use so I can live with it and forget about it. As said, the agate top part is beautiful and the gilding on it really looks like gold and looks classy.
