Review on 🧘 iLiving Shiatsu Portable Back and Neck Massager with Heat Therapy - Soothing Black by Leslie Smith

Whether you like it or not depends on your body type and whether you like Shiatsu massage.

I've seen similar devices on TV and in stores over the years. I remember those using Shiatsu applying a lot of pressure, but not very much. This guy is HEAVY. When I first tried it, it seemed like he was jabbing me in the left rib and trying to dislocate it. I adjusted the position and tried for a while. At first I wasn't very impressed because I wasn't very comfortable. My wife tried it and she really liked it. Yesterday after work I tried it again and I liked it much better because the STRONG pressure really gets the blood going and my biggest problem after work is that I'm so tired I want to sleep. Cycles so that you really get mid-down and mid-up, not just bottom or just top. Warmly pleasant. I usually find the heat on one of these too hot and keep turning it on and off, but for me this setting was perfect. Vibration for your feet seems useless to me, but I think mileage will vary. You shouldn't lean in too far as firstly it's likely to massage too much and secondly it's too strong for the device. I think I'm leaning on it too much because it usually turns itself off after 5 or 10 minutes (which is about as long as I need it anyway). It comes with a car adapter but I don't need it because it's massaged. It feels crazy while driving (very distracting) and if it was in the passenger seat I'd worry someone would try to steal it. All in all, if you like that HARD Shiatsu style massage and don't want to spend a lot, this could be the device for you. As long as you don't mind that it's not adjustable in height and width and doesn't fit over the shoulders of very tall people.
