Future-proof 8K display

With 4K becoming the norm, it fits well into the future with an 8K display with a 120Hz refresh rate. I mainly use it for gaming (which in won't reach 8K anytime soon), but there will be 4K at a 120Hz refresh rate on Xbox Series X and PS5. 8K movies are not very popular at the moment (2021). Picture quality is very good, the best I've seen on a home entertainment system to date. Once your eyes get used to it, 1080 (and possibly 4K) will look pixelated, like what you see on tube TVs when 1080p TVs became the norm. The volume of the TV speakers is higher than other TVs, you can hear them from a distance at medium volume, but I still recommend installing surround speakers for the full cinematic experience. The ability to use a voice assistant with a remote control. Options are Bixby, Alexia (Revain), and Google Assistant. You can use your TV for streaming services without connecting devices like Roku, Revain Fire Stick, Google Chromecast, Apple TV, game consoles and other third-party devices. When using a streaming service; You don't enter a login/password on the TV, you have to register on another device with the same Wi-Fi network. Once the TV detects it for the first time, you don't have to worry in the future (unless you cancel your data plan or want to sign up for a new account). Physical installation requires at least 3 healthy people. The stand is a bit small but still holds the TV well. Personally, I opted for the wall mount (sold separately). The controls are easy to use and the menus are easy to navigate. I have had a really good experience with this TV, no issues or complaints.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer model
