Dser 21 T vs. Anker Eufy 11S

After almost 2 years my Eufy stopped working although it held a charge well. I looked at a replacement and settled on a Dser 21T robot vacuum, which costs the same as eufy with a $30 coupon redeemed at checkout. We liked our eufy until it started failing. The right side brush worked intermittently, got stuck in the low transition strip between rooms, and eventually didn't work at all. The purchase price divided by operating hours was between 22 and 29 cents per operating hour over the lifetime of the device. No hitting the eufy 11S. The Dser robot vacuum was almost identical to the eufy 11S in design, parts, and features, with a few differences that I'll get to in a moment. This comes with 12ft magnetic tapes that create an impenetrable barrier. That's a nice feature that the eufy 11S doesn't have. It has an integrated pre-filter and filter housing that eufy does not have. It also has a silicone protector over the power button. These minor features can serve to extend the life of the device. The docking/charging station has a slot for a remote control. Its suction power is 2220 Pa compared to 1300 Pa for the 11S. Disposables - side and main brushes, filters and main battery - are identical to eufy and easily accessible. to have. However, the device works great with the 8 inch side clearance that I have. The suction power is at least as good as that of our laminate floors. It seems to work better than the eufy 11s for removing pet hair from the large Persian rug we have. It is designed to remove dust, dirt and hair, but will also deal with larger or denser deposits. It has programmable single room, whole house, and spot cleaning like eufy, as well as an edge-only feature not available on eufy. After completion, it will automatically return to the charging station. I used the Dzer vacuum cleaner 60 times; and so far the battery has been ready to charge at least 90 minutes before heading home. In fact, it was closer to 2 hours, which exceeds the advertised specs. Given its almost identical design (bolt for bolt) and build to the eufy I would expect it to last at least as long as the eufy which is around 2 years with daily use. If someone could even hire a housekeeper for $20 an hour to vacuum an hour a day (not possible here), the Dzer would pay for itself in 8 days. Okay, it takes about 90 minutes to do what a good housekeeper can do in about 20 minutes. However, both dser and eufy are very cost-effective investments that will make your life easier and your home cleaner.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Cables shorter than others
