Review on OGIO Layover Travel Duffle Bag For Convenient Travel by Kathy Babson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My favorite 22 " carry on bag!

This is my second one of these Ogio Layover bags. I only replaced my first one after 7 years because my previous company branded it and I felt bad rolling through an airport representing another company's brand. Its a big bag, it rolls really well (its a 2 wheeler), it supports my often overloaded Tumi breif on top of the Ogio back without tipping over. It fits really well (when not expanded) into all the newer model overheads in airplanes. Some older Southwest/Delta/AA planes you have to make sure you put it in wheels first to fit. Also if you're 100% loaded up inside without expanding, you cannot put items in the front exterior pockets or it won't slide in the overhead. The bag has tons of space inside, two compacting straps, and two large lid compartments I usually fill with socks, underwear, and undershirts. I can easily pack for a week long business trip and carry on with this. A better packer than me could probably get even more days out of this bag.I normally buy Tumi carry on bags, but this is actually my favority bag over my comparable 22" Tumi Alpha carry-on. And I travel enough every year to get A-List on Southwest, and previously Gold or Plat on Delta.

Pros
  • Its sleek design makes it an attractive accessory
Cons
  • The bag is too tall for many doorways
