Great Carry On Bag good for me

I'm writing this review because of the mixed reviews I read regarding this bag working as a carry on bag. I was on the fence on purchasing it, but now I'm glad I did. I had no problems with this bag. I just flew United Airlines with it and it fit fine in the overhead storage area. I'm not sure why folks are saying this bag wouldn't fit on the overhead area, as I didn't have any problems with it. It is bigger than my last carry on bag and seems more sturdy too. It doesn't have the 4 wheels but I

Pros
  • The bag's smooth rolling wheels make it easy to maneuver
Cons
  • The bag material is scratch-prone

I have used this model for over 2 years and I like it so much I bought a second one. I travel weekly for work and it stands up well to constant use. Though I rarely check the bag. My first bag is still going strong. The second one was purchased to replace a Samsonite that bit the dust (zipper, wheels and handle).

Pros
  • ‎Unisex-adult
Cons
  • The bag is prone to smells because of the material

After 6 weeks Two Thumbs up

This is the first wheeled suitcase I have every purchased and that’s with 45 years of international travel. Always just used a carry on duffel. Our recent trip to France and Spain This bag was put to the test and came away with terrific service. The only thing I don’t like is the weight of the bag empty. It’s about 2-3 pounds heavy than my wife’s bag of the same size. All in all I can highly recommend it

Pros
  • Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry
Cons
  • The bag can tip over easily

Not so pleased.: my feedback

Since I was very pleased with my Ogio Laptop Back Pack I thought I've give this a try. now I'm stuck with it. I travel for business and spend a lot of time on the road.Plastic "clasp" on the strap inside broke after a few days. The carry handles are VERY uncomfortable, tight and zero padding.Inside dimensions, pockets etc. I carry less now.I switched from Swiss Gear hoping to get better quality and I am left feeling like I paid 2X to get 1/2 the quality. I'll see how well this holds up. But…

Pros
  • The bag's durable construction ensures it will last for many trips to come
Cons
  • The rollaway handle is too long for short people

Most Versatile bag on the market

I have 4 Ogio bags. I have 2 of these. I can pack nearly a weeks worth of clothes in this bag. It fits in the overhead on planes. It has compartments all over the bag. Very sturdy and well built. I highly recommend spending the extra money for these. Other bags just won't hold up.

Pros
  • Multiple grab handles
Cons
  • The bag has a harsh and chemical smell

Loved size and quality of this bag. Made traveling easier

Durability of this bag was awesome as we traveled. Had plenty of compartments for storage and light weight made it easy rolling through various airports.

Pros
  • The bag's water-resistant finish helps protect your belongings from the elements
Cons
  • The bag fabric feels like cheap nylon

Best carry on bag I own!

Perfect carry on bag. I travel every week, and this is my preferred bag. Plenty of storage and extremely durable. The only downside is the larger wheels make it difficult to fit in the overhead bins of some smaller regional jets. I choose to just gate check it on those flights.

Pros
  • Stylish and roomy
Cons
  • Price is too high for a duffle bag

Not good for carry on

Traveled to Thailand with the bag, 16 different flights and it held up. It pretty heavy compared to other bags. You can’t put anything in the top pockets if you want to put the bag in an overhead. With the pockets empty it barely goes in. Forget about expanding it for overhead space. It won’t fit at all. Wheel design is bad for the overhead compartment. The bottom has a stabilizer bad of hard plastic which adds to the depth causing the difficulty with carry on. I would not use this for carry…

Pros
  • Its TSA-friendly design makes it easy to go through security checkpoints
Cons
  • Rollaway handle is difficult to put down

2015: This is my favorite bag from Ogio. My last Ogio Layover was stolen (growl) so it was a bitter replacement. I can easily pack several days into it with gym clothes and at least one pair of shoes. Sometimes I take off with this bag with a weeks worth of clothing without hesitation. It fits. The front pouches are also convenient for the stuff TSA likes to look at. They improved the material of the handles to a more sturdy, stout aluminum and it telescopes out in a single stage where many…

Pros
  • ‎4.65 Kilograms
Cons
  • The bag lacks adjustable straps

I like the size: my feedback

It is okay. I like the size, I dislike that it doesn't have the wheels that go all ways. However As much as I travel, it has held up well

Pros
  • ‎Right
Cons
  • The bag squeaks when rolling

Perfect Carry-On good for me

Love this bag. It fits perfectly in the overheads of bigger airplanes, and has a great handle and wheels. Not to mention it is fun colored, so no one ever grabs your bag accidently.

Pros
  • Convenient exterior pockets allow for quick access to essentials
Cons
  • The wheels are prone to breaking and chipping

Pretty nice value: my feedback

The handle extends a little less than my previous bag so that is not perfect. The bag also wobbles and falls easily when rolling from the handle - worse than my last bag. But other than that, it is a nice bag for the money.

Pros
  • Its spacious compartments make packing for travel a breeze
Cons
  • The bag lacks indication of brand logos

Great bag! best in my review

My husband loves this bag! It is quite roomy and can be expanded. When not expanded, it can be used as a carry on. He also likes being able to slide his backpack over the handle. I am considering getting a 2nd one for myself.

Pros
  • I like that this thing is expandable. That has been very useful on several return flights
Cons
  • Wheels do not make the bag convenient

My favorite 22 " carry on bag!

This is my second one of these Ogio Layover bags. I only replaced my first one after 7 years because my previous company branded it and I felt bad rolling through an airport representing another company's brand. Its a big bag, it rolls really well (its a 2 wheeler), it supports my often overloaded Tumi breif on top of the Ogio back without tipping over. It fits really well (when not expanded) into all the newer model overheads in airplanes. Some older Southwest/Delta/AA planes you have to make…

Pros
  • Its sleek design makes it an attractive accessory
Cons
  • The bag is too tall for many doorways
