I am shocked that such a famous company literally can't have customer service! The product does not work on my laptop - it is a technical error. But when I came to Lacey's site to enter information, I got chatbots and error messages. Their technical phone number on their website is unavailable - yes, it's like nobody's home! I ended up chatting with chatbots, which redirected me to Seagate Inc. Too funny, this link took me to an expired web link. Then I got a real person in the support chat. This person literally had no idea how to provide tech support so I stopped chatting. In fact, I received a chat message from Seagate later that evening. It came from a chatbot and linked to an expired website. To be honest. I'm sure my little bug could be fixed if LaCie supported their product. I would warn anyone against buying this product - look elsewhere. Update: It works now - pretty well.
