Works well, no issues, tested with multiple 3.5mm TRS earphones and headsets so they can use the USB ports. When tested with a dedicated 3.5mm mic it works but doesn't offer much mic gain so it's not used for this purpose.

My office landline has a USB port so I bought this and plugged it into my regular headset (3.5mm jack). It works well. The phone recognized the connection correctly and allowed me to switch to headset mode. I'm glad it saves me from buying a USB headset that's expensive and not popular.

Really useful little adapter. Sometimes I don't want to wear my big in-ear headphones, especially when I have to be mindful of others. And with this adapter I can easily connect my in-ear headphones to my USB hub. The sound quality they offer is much fuller. Makes in-ear headphones sound even better and almost as good as in-ear headphones. Definitely worth it if you have extra USB storage space or the headphone jack on your computer case is damaged or hard to reach.

I have an old gaming laptop with several internal parts that are not working properly here and there. I used it as a home theater laptop and hooked it up to an amp which sound quality was spasmodic. When I got this adapter, I first plugged it into the laptop's USB port and then plugged the amp into this adapter. saints. almost real sound in theater quality. I'm having trouble transferring and converting cassettes to MP3 on my computer. I was able to use a 3.5mm to 1/4" jack adapter on the side of the cassette deck.
