My daughter went to college and we bought her this horrible contraption so she could easily climb into her raised bed. Weight is listed as an adult and 200 pounds, but that's only if it stays together and won't collapse if a person steps on it. As my poor child went down the stairs, the device started collapsing and breaking. It sprained her ankle and cut her leg while she was wearing thick sleeping socks. This stool is a death trap, or at least a major safety issue, and I'm furious that Amazon is letting me carry it around despite the fact that there are MANY complaints of it collapsing. Also, she has been using it for less than 2 months. Don't buy this unless you devise a plan to harm someone who has seriously wronged you, and even then that would be cruel.
