Safety is good for children's furniture

This product is not safe because it can fall inwards very easily when you change position while standing, e.g. B. when you reach for something. I don't think Revane should wear it. Please do not let the child stand on it.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Ideal footstool: Furniture

I bought this stool to rest my legs at the table. During the day my legs fell asleep and I was desperately looking for something to help me. This stool is the perfect height. It's so easy to fold up and put in a desk drawer. So glad I finally bought it. In addition, the price is unbeatable!

Pros
  • Very good price

Dangerous and Unsafe

We found this stool comfortable and we have two other stools from different manufacturers that have served us well for a number of years. However, we ordered it about 5 months ago and this week my 2.5 year old girl jumped on it to brush her teeth and the plastic side cracked/broken in several places, collapsing underneath and hitting her head. I do not strongly recommend anyone ordering stools from this brand as they will break below the minimum weight.

  • Inspires Confidence
Cons

Doesn't snap into place

Although the instructions on the stool say it snaps into place, it doesn't. There is no lock. You can lift this stool or trip your foot over it and it folds easily by itself. I bought this for my 3 year old to use by the bathroom sink but I'm worried it will collapse if it moves slightly when stepped on and could seriously injure himself. I do not recommend this for children. It would probably be okay for an adult to use it on carpeted surfaces.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Something different

I'm overweight and have trouble putting shoes on.

I'm at a point in my life where it's difficult to reach my shoelaces. I needed one of the old shoe benches to put my foot up so I could reach. Such shoe shops were too expensive for me. Also, I travel sometimes and when I can't get a chair in a hotel room, it just hurts to sit on the bed to reach it. So a stool that folds almost completely flat. Fits in the bottom of my luggage and gives me a few inches of headroom to reach my shoes. This is probably not the purpose for which the manufacturer…

Stepladder Deathtrap

My daughter went to college and we bought her this horrible contraption so she could easily climb into her raised bed. Weight is listed as an adult and 200 pounds, but that's only if it stays together and won't collapse if a person steps on it. As my poor child went down the stairs, the device started collapsing and breaking. It sprained her ankle and cut her leg while she was wearing thick sleeping socks. This stool is a death trap, or at least a major safety issue, and I'm furious that Amazon

Don't buy a squat pot, buy this stool!

I bought for the bathroom to use in a similar way to a squat pot (TMI sorry) and it basically does the same job for less than $10 per dollar. Compare that to a squat pot that costs $50 and can only be used for this one activity. At least with the step stool I can use it as a step stool, which I have several times. And because it's foldable, at least the guests in my house won't know because I fold it up and put it away (unlike the squat pot that's left outside). As a step stool it is stronger…

Beware! This stool was dangerous for me

I had high hopes for this little stool. I used it to go to my bed which is quite high. It wobbled a little at first but I figured it was because it wasn't very strong as it folds so the design is mostly shaky. So I accepted it. Then last night I got out of bed and stepped on a stool and the plastic cracked and snapped, not at weak fold joints but right over the hard piece of plastic. I was thrown into a dresser where I landed. I couldn't believe how badly it broke and with so little effort. I…
