***Update*** I had some bikes stolen last night. Not mine! I went outside to take the police statements and my alarm clock beeped. Looks like they wanted to pick up my bike but the alarm made them think twice. Although I didn't hear the alarm going off even though I parked under my open bedroom window on the 4th floor. My original review is still valid. The alarm should be much louder. ***Original Feedback*** I park on the street and see several pedestrians throw their leg over my bike, only to jump off quickly when they realize there is an alarm. I don't think this will deter a determined thief, but it will at least deter the occasional drunk idiot from pretending. I seem to be the only person on my block who has a lock on my bike. I guess the "You don't have to run from the bear, just from the other" joke might work in my favour. I love that there is a warning tone before the actual alarm goes off. Makes my neighbors happy. Doesn't work when a truck is passing or being pushed lightly. It was nice to quickly pop the cover open. The bright orange cable is a good warning "This bike is safe" and a reminder that my drive is locked. The alarm itself could be louder. I could change it to make it louder. The carrying case is unusable for my use.
