Review on πŸ€ Clover Pink Pen Style Chaco Liner - Enhance Your Art Supplies by Kelly Caballes

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The pink insert can stain the fabric. . .

I have had no problem using Clover Chaco lining in more than one color and any of the different fabric types. . . up to this point. I grabbed a pink insert to draw a tiny line to mark the start of the loop on the white cambric. . . and now the pink color stubbornly refuses to come out. I've used it successfully on quilted cotton, felt and even satin in the past with no trouble just brushing it off, but now I seem to have some permanent pink stains on an heirloom dress I sewed and I'm not a happy camper. . I highly recommend that you check the fabric each time before marking it with this marker to make sure it's really easy to remove; Otherwise, you may be in for a nasty surprise. My next step is to try some stain removers, but it's not necessary to do this with something designed to leave temporary stains on the fabric. Use with caution. UPDATE: Clover recommends a 5 parts water to 2 parts vinegar solution to remove stains caused by their markers, but that didn't work for Cambric. However, Shout's stain remover works. So if you find yourself in a similar situation with this marker, have Shout ready.
