I've used chalk sticks for a while and as they got older I had to wet the end to make them work. Not so with this one! It took me a little time to get used to using it when turning a corner or tracing a circle, but I love it - no lines too wide, no wetting of the chalk tip, just go! And it can be easily removed after sewing.

I really like these pens and think they make good marking tools. Sometimes the wheel gets stuck a bit, but I let it ride on my arm for a bit and it works again. The white color rubs off very easily and is my favorite marking tool. But the pink doesn't wash off and doesn't want to wash off. I have had no problem using Clover Chaco lining in more than one color and any of the different fabric types. . . up to this point. I grabbed a pink insert to draw a tiny line to mark the start of the loop on the white cambric. . . and now the pink color stubbornly refuses to come out.
