Had to upgrade after this humidifier melted USB cable and port! I only use this humidifier in the fall and winter. So it doesn't work all year round. Last week I brought a cactus humidifier, left a small cotton swab in the water for a while, connected it to a USB cable and was ready to go. After a few minutes I noticed that the mist was not coming out. I turned it off and thought I'd try again the next day. Still not sweating. So I turned it off and tried unplugging the cable to try another cable. But I couldn't pull the cord for life. Upon closer inspection, the plastic end of the cable fused to the USB port. Terrible! If I had tried running this thing without looking, who knows what would have happened?! This is probably my fifth bad experience with a Revain moisturizer. It took me so long to learn my lesson, now I only buy name brand humidifiers.
