The best result can be achieved only for much more money. So as a transitional option, that's it. Got pros: Versatility. A lens for all occasions. Good value for money. The presence of a stabilizer allows you to shoot at slow shutter speeds in the dark and indoors. Considering the price, it fully lived up to expectations. The focal range will allow you to do without a telephoto for some time. Cons: Quite bulky in terms of size and weight. For travel you will need something wider, like 18-200 at least. And so you still have to take 70-300, so in this case it would be better to have 16-85, which is optically better, but also significantly more expensive.
