This adapter worked perfectly with the Harbor Breeze Dropbar. I was concerned that the fan mount hood would not fit properly on the Minka-aire mount, but it did fit as designed for it. I first tried using a Harbor Breeze sloped ceiling kit, but my ceiling was 37 degrees and the Harbor Breeze kit just wouldn't handle a slope that steep with a 3/4 inch drop bar. If you find yourself in the same situation, this affordable adapter will most likely solve your problem.
