is a perfect match for the MinkaAire ceiling fan you have purchased. We had to add this detail for the cathedral's sloping ceiling and also add a 48 inch extension pole. NO SWING and this element allows the rod to hang perfectly straight. Flawless installation.

This adapter easily attaches to the lower shaft and fits perfectly into the included hanging bracket. The bracket holds the remote control in place and the original Minka cover fits perfectly on the bracket. I had to use the original bracket cover screws instead of the ones that came with it, but they were the same thread size, so no problem. Overall very happy with this purchase!

We had a fairly steep vaulted ceiling which I believe only had a 45 degree angle so this design allows the canopy cover to stay out of the way of the lower vent duct and to swing freely if that is the case a balance is required installation. Can be mounted very quickly and simply replaces the original lower link pin connection. Recommend this kit for your vaulted ceiling needs.

This adapter is great for mounting a ceiling fan. It turned out that the fan I bought had a bottom shaft, but it could only be used on flat ceilings, not sloping ones. This solves the problem, but the metal ball at the top is too visible and doesn't look as good as it could. If they at least painted the plug white on top it would be better. There are no complaints about the work, only the looks.

This attachment fits my fan perfectly, mounted at an incline of about 45 degrees. The fan was unusable and unsafe for over a year, so it was shut down. I installed this bracket and there is no wobble, no noise and the fan can be used. Great little nozzle, didn't realize I ordered the brushed aluminum nozzle and my fan was antique bronze, no big deal, just sanded down with soft sandpaper and coated in Home Depot paint.

Our backyard has a steeply sloping ceiling that makes installing a traditional fan impossible due to the included ceiling fan housing. This product helped a little, hence the 4 star rating. It was possible to clean the cover and fan rack from the sharp corner of the ceiling. But unfortunately with the existing electric box I could not install the slot in the bracket and tube adapter. Despite this, it still holds its own without being in a slot. Great product apart from that.

This adapter worked perfectly with the Harbor Breeze Dropbar. I was concerned that the fan mount hood would not fit properly on the Minka-aire mount, but it did fit as designed for it. I first tried using a Harbor Breeze sloped ceiling kit, but my ceiling was 37 degrees and the Harbor Breeze kit just wouldn't handle a slope that steep with a 3/4 inch drop bar. If you find yourself in the same situation, this affordable adapter will most likely solve your problem.

This sloping ceiling adapter was perfect for the vaulted ceiling in one of the rooms in my house. Worth a few dollars more. I love everything about this new ceiling fan! Materials, workmanship, installation instructions are as good as I've ever seen. I ordered this adapter with the fan even though it was supposed to arrive a week later than the fan itself.
