I've had a lot of problems with cordless rotary tools for my job where we used them to trim dogs' nails. I've either had to pay over $100 for a rotary tool that stopped working after being knocked over by a large dog on the floor, or it just stopped working after two weeks, or I ran out of battery life. So, in a last ditch effort to find a good rotary tool that wouldn't be too expensive if thrown on the floor for some reason, I bought this tool. I'm very glad I did this because it's very easy to hold and has good battery life. And I have to turn it up high to use it, but I expected that because it's not a high power tool. It also has a longer warranty than any other tool I've purchased, which gives me peace of mind as collateral damage is common in my line of business!
