Not compatible with Pro 5000
Rule of thumb for batteries: If they get very hot while charging, you should stop using this charger. My Pro 5000 pen, which has Type 3764 marked on the bottom, gets abnormally hot, won't charge fully (never stops charging), and doesn't register more than 1 charging bar. This is not good for the battery and can cause the battery to overheat and catch fire. So I won't be using it until I find the right charger for the Braun toothbrush handle. I'll update this review when I get a response from Proctor and Gamble, the makers of Braun models.
