Review on Enhanced Diamond Countertop Porcelain Bathroom Installation Cutting Tools: Hole Saws & Accessories by Vincent Blitz

Totally worth it

That's great. Like others here, I had to drill a hole in some sort of tile (oven hearth). A good diamond crown will cost many times more than this one and to me it's more of a one time purchase to solve a problem. Following someone else's advice and preparing for success. 1: There is no pilot drill, so it goes through the entire tile first. 2: Using another board, drill an appropriately sized hole as a guide with another bit you (hopefully) have. for a tree. 3: Surround the pilot hole with plumbing, plasticine or whatever you have. 4: Press the board against the tile and line it up where you want the hole. 5: Clamp if possible 6: Keep some water in the hole Keep the drill bit cool all the time 7: Use a SLOW speed and take your time, I easily went through the tile in a few minutes max. By following these steps the hole was clean and easy with no sign of bit wear. It was disposable but looks like there are still some cuts in it.
