Cheap option, works well

Bought to make a few holes in leftover granite pieces from a kitchen remodel that I used to make patio side tables. Now they hold umbrellas perfectly. Surprised at how well they worked for the price, they cut through the granite like butter while still holding water in place while I drilled. Left a nice even edge with a perfect hole. I tried the guide they offer but found it didn't work that well and ended up cutting a hole through the leftover plywood with a regular hole saw and then pressing…

Totally worth it

That's great. Like others here, I had to drill a hole in some sort of tile (oven hearth). A good diamond crown will cost many times more than this one and to me it's more of a one time purchase to solve a problem. Following someone else's advice and preparing for success. 1: There is no pilot drill, so it goes through the entire tile first. 2: Using another board, drill an appropriately sized hole as a guide with another bit you (hopefully) have. for a tree. 3: Surround the pilot hole with…

Not the cleanest touch, though.

I used this to drill two holes in a 3/8 inch glass tank in addition to two slightly larger holes using a different saw supplied by a common aquarium overflow manufacturer becomes. As this was my first glass drilling experience I have to compare the two tools but I noticed differences. This saw was less precise, with a much thicker and slightly uneven surface finish on the sharpening punch. Another comparison saw was thinner and more uniform in wool.
