I used this to drill two holes in a 3/8 inch glass tank in addition to two slightly larger holes using a different saw supplied by a common aquarium overflow manufacturer becomes. As this was my first glass drilling experience I have to compare the two tools but I noticed differences. This saw was less precise, with a much thicker and slightly uneven surface finish on the sharpening punch. Another comparison saw was thinner and more uniform in wool. Drilling a hole with this Drilax saw was more difficult for me, even when using the Drilax glass cutting guide, sold separately. Nonetheless. This Drilax saw also went through two holes much faster than the other saw and I clearly could have drilled more if I was that inclined. Another saw with such a thin coating went through the second hole with difficulty. Good price, job was done neatly and I could use it again. It is highly recommended to use the Drilax saw guide, sold separately. helped me with both sizes of saw and I doubt I would have been so lucky to complete this project without them.
