I was looking for a good digital meat thermometer after the last one I got wasn't very accurate. Revane told me it would arrive in two days but I was happy to know it arrived the very next day! The thermometer was well packaged and was easy to get and install. I love the packaging and the packaging of this thermometer was so elegant and aesthetically pleasing. Installation was very easy. I really liked that the thermometer came with an extra battery and a small round key to open the battery compartment. It comes with instructions but they were pretty self explanatory so I didn't have to look at them. The thermometer comes with a paper meat temperature gauge, but the best part is that the thermometer itself has a normally cooked meat gauge on the back, which is very handy! The back magnet makes it handy when I need it. My fridge is next to the stove so it's always handy and also keeps it clean and counterless. The magnetic probe cover is also great. It is very tight on the probe and will not fall off. First I checked the thermometer for some hot liquid. It worked really fast: in just a few seconds it showed the final temperature. The next day I tried it on pork in a slow cooker and again it worked very quickly and accurately. The backlight is great for monitoring temperature. The thermometer is truly waterproof and washable. I tested it by submerging everything in water and washing it out and it works just as well. So far I really like this thermometer. It's durable and accurate and I think it will last a long time.
