The product itself is well made and looks quite sturdy. It's great if you're familiar with it. I had to return it because I couldn't figure out how to curl my hair the same way for the rest of my life. I've watched a lot of videos on how to do this and still haven't been able to figure it out. I thought the sloping surface made it harder for me. I attribute a lot of this to user error and a lack of patience as I was looking for a way to get the waves into my hair a little quicker than with a standard curling iron like they portray, but it's not. Case. I had better luck with the normal iron.
