I was able to use an ethernet dongle as well as a small wifi dongle to connect to the internet. I did some googling and it looks like some people managed to get some versions of the ASUS T100CHI working. The problem is that there are different versions with different hardware and people have different experiences. Some people had to patch and recompile the Linux kernel to make it work, others had to compile and install very specific drivers using complex Linux command line commands. For some it never worked. Maybe the internal WiFi works, but for that I would have to become a Linux expert and it would require many hours of research. Since the foreign key just works, this might be a good option.3. The Bluetooth keyboard connects and works flawlessly. Until the computer turns off and on again. The keyboard is still listed as a paired Bluetooth device, but shows as disabled even when I can see that it's clearly enabled and the blue light is flashing. I need to use an external USB keyboard to log in, disconnect the keyboard, and reconnect the keyboard. This can be circumvented if you have a spare wired keyboard and don't turn off your computer too often. This is a dumb problem and I don't know how to fix it. There may be Linux magic spells to fix this, but it's not clear to me. Again, this requires me to become a Linux expert and research for hours.
