Review on πŸ”§ Lelecar 34350 Fuel Water Sensor Wrench 12-Sided for Chevy/GMC 6.6L Duramax Diesel Engines 2001-2011 Truck by Aaron Thawngzauk

Does it fit Oil Filter Wrench

That's all I can say about it. It's designed specifically for one job: removing the old 12-way sensor from the fuel filter without damaging the flat surfaces. It's thick enough to put enough force on the plastic sensor's threads, so no complaints. I've only used it to remove the sensor from the truck, but it looks like there's room to use it with the filter still in place (I wouldn't do that, but it looks like if you could). Also, I have to say that unless someone really over-tightened the sensor, a good pair of channel locks will get the job done without damage as well, as long as you don't rush and force it. But if you do it enough, it costs money to make sure you don't rip the sensor.

Pros
  • Function: Removes and installs the water sensor on 2001-2011 Duramax 6.6L diesel fuel filters.
Cons
  • Upgradable
