Fits snugly and provides the leverage needed to remove the WIF sensor.

Fits snug but my WIF sensor was almost rounded off by the previous owner. This tool is essential when replacing a fuel filter on a Duramax as removing the sensor requires a good fit and leverage. This part is stamped "MADE IN USA".

Pros
  • Kit includes: 1 x 34350 Wrench for water in fuel sensor.
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Must for DIY

You should buy one of these if you plan to change the fuel filter yourself. I changed the fuel filter once. In the course of research, it was determined that ordinary pliers could be used to accomplish this task. It's not like that at all. I ended up chewing on the plastic on the sides of the water sensor. I had to buy a new water sensor for my second fuel filter change. With this key it was made very easy. This is a must for DIY enthusiasts.

Pros
  • Note. Removing the plastic fuel filter water sensor with other tools can cause damage, but this wrench fits perfectly and can easily install or remove the water sensor.
Cons
  • Vulgarity

It's thick enough to put enough force on the plastic sensor's threads, so no complaints. I've only used it to remove the sensor from the truck, but it looks like there's room to use it with the filter still in place (I wouldn't do that, but it looks like if you could). Also, I have to say that unless someone really over-tightened the…
