Good basic cabin air filter replacement for 2012 Toyota Corolla at a good price

A good replacement for the base filter for a 2012 Toyota Corolla. It fits perfectly and is similar in quality to original OEM and various aftermarket parts. I like the use of activated carbon for odor reduction in addition to its primary function of filtering out dust, pollen, particles, allergens, smoke, etc. from the air entering the cabin through the heating or air conditioning system. There are no installation instructions, but there are plenty of places you can google how to do it or watch videos online. At a current price of around $7, which comes free with the Prime, this is a good OEM filter replacement option. Easy to install * Open the glove box * Remove all your belongings as they are likely to fall out during the process * Remove the clamp on the damper that holds the glove box on the right side * Flip the side of the glove box from the back inwards loosen the tabs holding it so that it falls down.* You will see a black box with tabs on the side - press the tabs to open the cover* Remove the old filter and clean it of dirt (you can use a vacuum or cloth if there is a lot of it) * Insert a new filter with the arrow pointing down (in the direction of the air to the fan) * Replace the lid * Lift the glove box door to release the side clips to reattach * Re-attach the damper to the clip * Replace your stuff * You're good for another year. - Make sure you do this Try it yourself and save the $25-$65 the dealer will charge you for this very simple task.
