Much better quality than OEM

This activated carbon cabin filter is much better than OEM. I wasn't too surprised by the inferior Toyota factory filter, but I wish they worked better from the factory. The OEM filter was a gauzy fibrous web that caught large particles, but that's about it. I installed in a 2020 4Runner and the pictures show OEM on the left and new on the right. You can clearly see the difference. The 4Runner has only done 10,870 miles and you can see how dirty the factory filter (on the left in the photos) is

Looks good visually.

Apparently I don't have the technical equipment to properly analyze this filter for parameters such as flow and dust collection efficiency. What I can tell you is that visually it looks as good as any filter of this type I've ever seen. Over the years I have used different brands of cabin air filters. I do not consider this application critical as an engine air filter, so I have no hesitation in using it on our car.

Good basic cabin air filter replacement for 2012 Toyota Corolla at a good price

A good replacement for the base filter for a 2012 Toyota Corolla. It fits perfectly and is similar in quality to original OEM and various aftermarket parts. I like the use of activated carbon for odor reduction in addition to its primary function of filtering out dust, pollen, particles, allergens, smoke, etc. from the air entering the cabin through the heating or air conditioning system. There are no installation instructions, but there are plenty of places you can google how to do it or watch
