We are big citrus lovers. As I write this review, we have a grocery box full of lemons, limes, oranges, grapefruit, and halos. There is nothing better than freshly squeezed orange juice! My favorite drink is sparkling water thanks to my Fizzy River, with grapefruit juice, some basil leaves and a dash of agave. SO GOOD! But it has been a bit difficult to prepare my favorite drink so far. Beast to the rescue! I've always had one of those manual citrus presses. I think it's a spoiled chef so it's good quality and it works well, but for grapefruit it's just a disaster. But now that I have this new citrus juicer, grapefruits are no longer a problem! And my arm doesn't cramp after squeezing a dozen oranges! That thing is HEAVY! It's cast iron so I hope it's a family heirloom that will last for generations. It's very easy to use. Cut the citrus, insert the handle and lower. There are nice rubber feet on the bottom so you don't have to worry about it moving towards you. It can also be washed in the dishwasher! It's great, but I usually just wash it quickly and easily after use. I have the orange color and I really like it! All in all I would definitely recommend it. Especially if you are a citrus lover.
