I bought these DIY magnets and they are great for this application. However, it was impossible not to want to play with these powerful little magnets. My son and I enjoyed watching them jump a few inches, flatten and reconnect. Use their link to move them inside the jar or box. Unstoppable fun! But here's my WARNING: After about an hour of playing this game, chips appeared in some of the magnets. Small pieces broke off, so we had to stop active use. Conclusion: They are ideal for handicrafts or as a small but strong fridge magnet. But not recommended for vigorous play or experimentation as they are not good at handling stress. Also, remember to keep them away from small children who could swallow them, as they are very dangerous when they become connected through the walls of the digestive tract!
