Review on Akebono-EUR1341 Grey Brake Pad Set: Superior Performance and Reliability by Dezz Watson

Although not as important as the front brake. The rear brakes are still pretty important. For reference, they fit perfectly on the 2011 C300 Sport 4matic and match the old removed pads exactly. Like the front ones, these ceramic pads offer excellent braking performance after about 50 km of running-in. I think ceramic suits my, uh, "harsh" riding style better than the semi-metallic Brembo I was considering. The construction and materials of these pads are really top notch. I don't know about "ultra-premium" because "premium" should be the best for me, right? ultra best? Hm. Suffice to say these are really good pads. Note that they include pad wear sensors, although you only need one for the 2011 C300 - there are no sensors installed on the driver's side. And to be honest, although molybdenum grease is included, I'll confess I haven't bothered to apply it and no squeaks or anything. Take it for what it's worth. The bottom line is these are superior pads that perform superiorly. No dust, good stopping power and feel, even on the C300. I won't consider anything else when it comes time to replace these.
