Akebono-EUR1341 Grey Brake Pad Set: Superior Performance and Reliability Review

Good product. Once hacked, they work much better than when they were first installed. The only reason for 4 stars is that I had an emergency braking situation and I think the OEM would have stopped me a little less. In general I recommend.

This should be in the OEM packaging instead of the messy organic pads that come with Mercedes products. I've used them on three different MB models and the stopping power, low shedding and feel make them better than what the manufacturer says is OE. A good thing.

You hate brake dust? If so, I really recommend buying these brakes. I washed my rims and went outside and my rims were covered in black dust. With Akebonos I guarantee you, however fast you drive and how hard you pump the brakes, not an inch of dust will appear on your rims! I wish I had found them sooner because they are really worth it!

Bought a set of front and rear brake pads for my 2008 Mercedes C350. When first installed I was concerned that they didn't have the stopping power of the OEM pads which are much more "biting" (no gradual deceleration, just STOP). These brake pads represent excellent value for money. I always use akebono brake products when I have the opportunity to use them. Arrived perfectly packaged, the pads are not damaged. They fit perfectly and came with brake pad wear sensors and a small packet of grease. These Akebono pads were the best pads I have used on my Mercedes W204.
