We own a condo with a patio door that faces a busy street, and our dog is always in protection mode - barking at absolutely everything that passes by. This was always annoying, and after my dog got an upper respiratory infection, we wanted to keep him from barking as much as we could, so I started researching solutions and came across window clings. Genius! Especially for patio doors, which dimensions make it super expensive for things like blinds.Overall, it's a good solution for us. It's not a complete privacy window, you can still see a lot of things through it from the outside. As far as our dog, he can still see a few things through it from inside our condo, but he barks a LOT less now and seems much more calm.Be sure to get the installation kit as well, it's sold separately and the squeegee made it very easy to install. Don't be shy with the soapy water either. We haven't had any issues with peeling or air bubbles with the kit. Keep in mind that if you want to install it right from the roll (which is easiest) the design will be upside down. We realized this after installing and decided to just leave it. (because lazy, and it's for our dog, the design is just a plus!)
