It works. It gets the job done, very simple, I needed a wireless connection on my desktop as it wasn't anywhere near the router and running a cat cable through my house wasn't an option. I now successfully have Wi-Fi. However, I have a few problems: sometimes the adapter stops receiving or working or something and I have to remove and reinsert the adapter and reconnect to my network. I also ran into an issue where Windows suddenly turns off the device for no apparent reason. The network connection issues I am having are not related to my service or router as my phone and laptop work fine when there is nothing on my desktop. Aside from a few technical difficulties, the adapter is compact, easy to install, and has a decent price. I think you get what you pay for.
