Works in 93 S10 2.8L

My dashboard gauge no longer works in my 93 S10 with 2.8L V6. After unplugging the single wire harness from the old sensor, I noticed that the connector on the sensor was snapped. I checked the sensor on the dash, grounded the single green wire that went from that sensor to the engine block and tested the sensor and it was max to make sure the harness, wire and sensor were working. I ordered this and used a 13/16 spark plug head to remove the old one and installed this immediately. I just lost some fluid. Plugged it in and the sensor worked again. It may only be installed when the engine is cold. Also, the s10 2.8L has two temperature sensors, one for the gauge sensor and one for the ECU, which is a two-wire cable on top of the engine. This 2.8L is on the driver's side above the power steering pump. I used a 13/16 1/4" screwdriver with an 8" extension and it worked.
