Good OEM product. for parts

Used on the driver's side in the Sonoma 94, cfi W engine. This is used to send readings to the dash (NOT PCM). Has a two wire socket but uses only one wire. Works as described. This is a wet sensor, so expect to drop the coolant and change it.

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • A newer model could have been selected

Recalibration required.

Original acdelco, looks good etc but not properly calibrated and not reading normal operating temperatures. 195-200 is displayed as 150-160 on this meter. As much as I love that the OE aftermarket has solved this problem. This is the second or third Acdelco temperature sensor I've had the same issue with.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Don't really like it, all fine

Genuine AC Delco part (not a counterfeit)

This new OEM AC Delco Temperature Sensor (P/N 213-77) arrived on time and in AC Delco packaging. Please note that on LT1 engines this is NOT the temperature sensor on the water pump, it is the sensor on the passenger side of the engine which sends a signal to the dashboard mounted temperature sensor.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Long Lead Time

Correct for 1993 LT1 engine

This is the engine temp sensor which is mounted under the driver's side exhaust manifold near the front of the engine (not the coolant temp sensor which is attached to the water pump). This is the correct fit for my 1993 Firebird Formula V8 LT1. My dash temp gauge didn't work and the engine shut off once it reached operating temperature. I replaced this sensor, now the dashboard works and the car does not stall. I just installed it and ran the machine for 2 hours with no problems. If this partโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Some issues

Works in 93 S10 2.8L

My dashboard gauge no longer works in my 93 S10 with 2.8L V6. After unplugging the single wire harness from the old sensor, I noticed that the connector on the sensor was snapped. I checked the sensor on the dash, grounded the single green wire that went from that sensor to the engine block and tested the sensor and it was max to make sure the harness, wire and sensor were working. I ordered this and used a 13/16 spark plug head to remove the old one and installed this immediately. I just lostโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old
