This ball is not USAPA approved for tournament play. The description says yes, but it isn't. You can search the web for the latest legal list of balls as of 5/16/18 (or view photos) and I suggest you get one of these if you are a serious pickleball player. There are a few other ONIX balls on this approved list, but none of them are Pure 2 Outdoor. I bought these balls based on the description but after receiving them a friend told me they were unapproved and I sent them back. I'm more than willing to change this review if the USAPA website misled me.
