Review on Enhance Your Cycling Experience with the Topeak Explorer Rack by Justin Spoja

Too small for 29ers on racks

I have a Topeak rack mounted on 5 bikes because I have a Topeak MTX bag that I always use when I ride one of them. The stand is strong. It's also convenient to use with the ToPeak MTX pouch that slides in and snaps into place. However, I have three complaints. First, it's barely big enough for a 29er (about 1/2 inch clearance above the rear wheel). If the straps are not bent properly, they will touch the rear wheel. Second, I paid $50 for this stand, while a comparable quality stand from other manufacturers costs around $30. I buy it because I am attached to this brand and their design to keep the Topeak MTX bag safe and comfortable. However, I'm tempted to buy a different brand next time and change the design to use with the bag. Third, you don't get enough screws to mount the rack on every bike. If they're asking $50, the least they can do is spend pennies and provide everything you need to install the rack properly.
