Review on Mirkit FTDI USB Baofeng Programming Cable Model 5: The Ultimate Multi-Device Flashing Solution for Baofeng, Wouxun, Kenwood, Mirkit, Motorola, and Yaesu Radios by Pete Martin

I bought this kit because I needed to maintain frequencies on three of my radios: Yaesu FT50R, FT60R and Baofeng UV-S9PLUS. Windows 10 recognized it immediately and configured it without any problems; I could connect to Baofeng and read/write data; but when I tried to connect to the Yaesu radios, I couldn't. I tried different software and none could communicate with the radios, the radio always showed an error. get a ready answer to follow the "general instructions" before. <-- doesn't help at all. Read other reviews, it looks like the connectors are failing; So I checked the connector for Yaesu with my ohmmeter and indeed it has a short circuit. Doesn't serve the purpose of the purchase
