Review on Digital piano CASIO PX-S1000 white by Petar Kolev ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

There is no auto accompaniment, but you can connect any other source via wire or bluetooth. You can record yourself, listen and analyze. You can record one melody, but 2 channels separately, for example, the left and right hands in turn. You can practice with headphones, even together. But it's probably almost everywhere. You can split the keyboard into 2, and play as a duet (2 identical short keyboards). It is not possible to select different instruments. I did not test the audio output, I have nowhere to stick it. Can run on 6 AA batteries. I read somewhere that 4 hours. Outcome. This is a good classic piano in a compact body, and with some additional features. I am satisfied. Bonus. If you leave the lessons, you can still use the piano as a portable (12kg) stereo system, wired or bluetooth. The sound is good, clear, but without bass. You can also use it as a headphone splitter.

Pros
  • Very similar to the real click mechanics. Up to the fact that if you press one key in a row many times, then the sound is quieter, the smaller the pause, as if the hammer did not have time to return back, and the next blow was weaker. And it can also be customized. Very realistic sound. Up to the point that multiple notes affect each other, but non-multiple ones do not. For example, holding c5 and pressing and releasing c4 will produce a slight ringing sound, but if you press d4, there will be almost no sound. As if the vibrations are spreading to neighboring strings. Strict stylish design, a minimum of buttons: on / off, volume knob, several illuminated touch buttons. Most of the functions are enabled by holding the touch and pressing one of the keyboard keys. Usually I am for simple physical buttons, but in this case I like the touch ones more.
Cons
  • The main drawback is the rather loud key mechanism. When you release them abruptly, they spring back and hit against the stop, and you can hear it. I poked neighboring models, there is such an effect everywhere, but on this one it is louder than the others. When you plug in headphones, there is some background noise.
