Okay, I don't know what's wrong with lip balm, but it ALWAYS dries out the lips. It only took a few minutes from applying to reapplying the material to dry. My lips crack and peel over time. I am not allergic to anything and do not have sensitive skin. Cracking and chipping usually occurs with poorly made lip gloss or brand name lipstick. I've been looking for different ways to moisturize my lips without lip gloss and this isn't it! I'm really amazed at the comments saying how awesome this is. You must apply it every 4 minutes. It's terrible. And it doesn't smell super awesome, it almost smells like plastic. I promise it's rude for a reason. I'm really disappointed with this product and it's a bit more expensive than other lip products. save your money Buy some petroleum jelly or lip balm because for me, Blistex was the only lip balm that was even slightly good.
