I purchased this product on October 11th and finally hooked it up on October 19th and today, the "31st October October,” I walked into my cat's room and found it empty. Up to 30 days? Not true. I had it in my bedroom and I also turned it on and off so it wasn't even on all the time but still didn't last "up to 30 days". However, I will say that both my Manx Jax and my two Chis lay harmoniously together in my bedroom on my bed for the first two days I plugged it in. This is surprising because with Alpha Chi, Sophie usually territorializes my bed and keeps Jax away from her when she's in the mood. This seemed to calm all my furry little ones. I noticed my kitten being sprayed in our hallway and then decided to purchase this product as I am trying to keep my kitty indoors. But of course he wants to go out sometimes. It seems to have worked but I'm not sure when it ended because he sprayed back home yesterday and he's not a regular sprayer. He is neutered, probably for the 4th time in the last 5 years. . I just noticed when I unplugged it to take it to my room today that the diffuser was already empty. So maybe it has something to do with the fact that he was spraying again in the hall (at a different location) yesterday. I should also add that he was kind of injured and that's when he squirted for the first time. He was very worried and wanted to leave but I kept him at home until I bought him a tracker. So I believe stress is the reason for spraying it in the first place. I thought it was working but I would like to know when the refill ran out. Now I know I need to check it every 10 days instead of 30 days. I know it says "up to 30 days" but more like every 10 days. Again, I didn't work all the time. Overall I think this has calmed my furry little ones but I would need at least 6 to 8 diffusers for my whole house which would be expensive to change every 12 days. I will buy other products from this brand again and will also try other diffuser brands to see which diffuser is the most efficient and long lasting.
