Non-repeatable for baby care

There appears to be an issue with the accuracy of this thermometer. I have not found the readings to repeat after multiple attempts on the same spot on the forehead. When my daughter was sick she gave me 101.2, 97.8, 99.6, 98.3, all without the thermometer moving. I understand that thermometers can have some accuracy range, but that's pretty far off. The photos I've attached were my temperature readings from the same spot on my skin, a few seconds apart. The device itself is promising, but needs improvement.
