Useless piece of junk, spend the extra money and buy a Times-Sert kit

Useless piece of junk, I spent $50 to buy a set of helicoil spark plugs from O'reillys Auto Parts and my spark plug flew out engine after 4 hours. -5 months. I bought an insert but the old Helicoil stripped the new threads. Now I have to shell out $343 for a big sert insert because Stanley doesn't make kits in large sizes. This insert has a major design flaw: the metal of the insert is too hard, and the top teeth, which are supposed to grip the walls of the block, aren't enough to cut into the block. If you overtighten the end of the hammer you risk forcing the bit into the block and ruining the new threads. Stay away Time-Sert is much more expensive but much more effective because the locking mechanism is at the bottom of the liner, not the top.
