This vacuum cleaner was a bargain but you get what you pay for. I was replacing a 20 year old Eureka Boss that still works but rips the belts more than I would like and I wanted to try a bagless vacuum. Well, the bin that holds dirt in this Hoover T-Series pet wind tunnel vacuum holds about a cup of lint and dirt. This way you empty it after each use. It seems to pick up a lot of dirt and the noise level is about what you'd expect from an upright vacuum. BUT don't buy this vacuum cleaner if you plan to clean above the floor. The hose is short and very tightly squeezed, so you'll probably have to pull the whole vacuum cleaner to reach anything. Only one wand extension is provided, which is 1 foot long. And the "powered" pet nozzle is powered by vacuum suction air, so the little rubber fins spin and stop when you apply any pressure to the nozzle at all. I tried using it to clean furniture cushions and stairs but it didn't work at all. The duster also has rubber fins instead of bristles as you would expect from any duster. The extra-long crevice tool works well, but the hole is tiny, so don't try to vacuum up Cheerios spilled on the baseboard! I am seriously considering returning this item.
