I'd like to single out the screen for a few reasons: first, it's tiny, and most games' typefaces weren't made for that size. One's eye can be damaged. Second, the screen's illumination and brightness/contrast are so poor that it's impossible to read even on an overcast day. It would appear that the PSP's screen is superior. Don't waste your money on illumination! You can use a standard toggle switch, or even better, an OLED. You can at least flip the monitor off with a regular switch, but OLED displays never have any issues. It makes no sense to me at all to have a portable console that can only be played in a completely dark environment.
