Before I bought this brand I saw another review that said it wasn't 100% merino wool. And that it smelled bad and was probably mixed with some kind of synthetic fiber. Unfortunately, after wearing, washing and wearing it for a while, I have to agree with another negative review. I was impressed with this company after reviewing their website, their products and their "mission" to bring cheaper merino wool to people while maintaining a high level of quality. Now I know their products are not high quality wool. I know Revain is littered with fake reviews these days. But hopefully someone who really cares about this product sees this review and saves themselves the high price of a crappy shirt. And save yourself a lot of hassle and frustration at the same time. It is in the best interest not to bombard this product page with other brands as I know this is against Revain's review policy and I feel it is unethical as well. I suppose there are other brands that sell real merino wool at a fraction of the usual high price you would expect from wool. Keep searching. They are there. Now I like 100% merino wool turtleneck sweaters that I like to wear to keep warm in winter. They cost me $30 or $40 a shirt.
