Plus a locking system with four tabs. These are easily one of the best storage containers with glass and plastic lids that I have ever used. Very impressed with this product. Reusable fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher (top rack recommended) and oven safe up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit without a lid. It says "Do not put the lids in the oven or microwave" but it says the lids are microwave safe. This brutal spelling confusion caused me to deduct a point when evaluating this quality product. This glass flour making jar is made of clear borosilicate glass and can withstand rapid temperature changes without warping or cracking. Safely transfers from freezer to oven in a snap, won't pick up stains or odors. This is a quality product and I give it 4 stars.
