I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

I chose according to the criterion "price / volume". I wanted to buy 2x4 GB because of their possible work in dual mode. I must say right away that in dual mode, the speed of copying (copy) files inside the RAM mainly increases (for example, in single mode it was 7000 mb / s, in dual it became ~ 10000 mb / s), and the speed of read and write increases by only 200-300 mb. Therefore, I decided to take it for 8 GB, then I might buy another one for 8 or there will already be DDR4, we'll see. The memory is now 12 GB along with the old opera 2x2 GB, enough for browsing with 70 tabs, a bunch of progs, no need to cautiously climb into the task manager, see how much opera is left free. By the way, it's strange, an 8 GB stick works for me with old sticks in dual mode, although there are only 3 sticks! The speed of copying has increased noticeably :))

Pros

Allows you to lower the timings to 9-9-9-24-40-2T at a frequency of 1600 and a voltage of 1.5v. It works with old kingston 2x2gb sticks (standard 1333 1.65v) at 1600. In theory, it has the potential to overclock above 1600, because the voltage is 1.5v, but I did not check it. Low profile, will fit where there are huge heatsinks on the processor.

Cons

Maybe they are, but I didn't notice them. Depends on your needs. Perhaps only the price, 4 months ago the prices for RAM were lower by 30-50%, and now they are growing and it is not clear when they will go down.

Installed and launched WITHOUT any problems and settings on the motherboard ASUS Z97-A (LGA 1150), with a declared frequency of 1600 MHz. I got a low profile and Retail (in the package). There are no radiators. The usual low-profile green RAM. Works fine: ran 1 full pass in MemTest 42022 and 3 passes in latest version 5. Everything is great.
